   Folks born and raised in Chapel Hill will tell you that even living here since 1982, as I have, does not qualify you as a true Chapel Hill native. So, a long time ago, I decided to deepen my Chapel Hill roots by marrying my Carolina Girl. Even today, we live in the house she grew up in, right in downtown Chapel Hill.
     My commitment to my family has led me to such wonderful opportunities as coaching community t-ball and soccer teams. My wife and I also produce a music festival the first Sunday of every May to raise money to send back to the Kamensk Uralski Baby Home in Russia. We adopted our son from there in 1998.
